COVID-19 BUSINESS RESOURCES

This page is intended for local businesses/employers that are seeking information and shareable resources about employment conditions, worker safety, and funding programs.

During these unprecedented times, The Pas CDC urges local businesses to implement the safety protocols put forward by the province to ensure public safety.  By practicing social distancing, and implementing safety protocols we are able to create an environment that is safe for our community. By doing so, we are able to safely promote and encourage local shopping in attempt to decrease the current of money leaving the local economy due to online shopping. Keep Local Safe

Manitoba Chambers of Commerce has provided a comprehensive list of available resources.

The Pas CDC acknowledges, respects and has the honour of working on lands in Treaty 5 Territory, a treaty that was first negotiated and entered into in 1875. Treaty 5 Territory is the traditional and ancestral lands for many Indigenous peoples who, prior to contact with Europeans, established and maintained important trade routes, connected with and lived off the land, and thrived in a culture that was celebrated through language, ceremony, tradition and a sustainable livelihood.  We look forward to fostering partnerships and opportunities to learn about the past in efforts to move towards reconciliation and continued collaboration.
